Description

New York at night, the water reflecting the city lights, and in the middle of the sky, a small plane with a tow banner: “Jesus Saves.” We liked the idea of using an everyday advertising space—you usually see such banners for companies or events—for a different message.

The image combines two very different techniques: the night sky is created with thick, impasto paint application, with visible brushstrokes in navy blue, while the skyline below is digitally rendered, down to the countless tiny warm window lights. We designed both ourselves and combined them into one image. It fits well in the living room or office, wherever dark, warm tones blend in well. Printed on 200g matte paper with an oak or ash wood frame, or as a canvas in a cotton-polyester blend, every order is produced locally for you.

Material and dimensions

Size Guide

8 × 10 in Perfect for small accents, like on a desk or shelf.
11 × 14 in A great mid-size. Ideal for gallery walls or smaller rooms.
16 × 20 in More presence. Looks wonderful standing alone above sideboards or dressers.
18 × 24 in Our most popular size. Makes a clear statement without overwhelming the space.
24 × 36 in A real highlight. Made for large, empty wall spaces.

Our previous international A-sizes are still available upon request.

Material

Every canvas print uses a premium cotton-polyester blend stretched over sustainable FSC-certified wood. A subtle gap between the canvas and frame creates an elegant floating effect.

Technical Details

Canvas: Cotton-polyester blend (300-350 gsm)

So beautiful! I saw it on Instagram and immediately decorated our house with several pictures. Even my husband said "yes" right away (he usually doesn't care about decorations). I ordered it unframed – it feels very high-quality and arrived quickly. Thanks!

MOTIF studio – framed art prints on the work table

We deliberately rebuilt the shop because we didn’t want to sell art that lacks visual impact. Every design is a reminder of faith, presented in a modern style and kept intentionally minimal. If that’s what you’re looking for, you won’t have to look far.

Motif isn’t backed by a large corporation, but by a small team working closely together. We take our time with the details and are directly available if you have any questions.

We don’t produce mass-produced posters. Every design is created in-house, from scratch.

No stock graphics, no ready-made templates. Every letter and every brushstroke starts on an empty page here — and you won’t find the result anywhere else.

Many shops send you mass-produced goods from Asia. We print locally, offering high quality, tested color profiles, and controlled prints.

Nothing is printed before you order it. No warehouse full of stock, and every format is printed and hung on a wall by us before it goes on sale.
